Effective November 4, 2026 · GTA EV Repair (gtaevrepair.com)
GTA EV Repair is an independent online directory of electric and hybrid vehicle repair shops in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Questions about this policy or your information: hello@gtaevrepair.com.
Service requests. When you submit our "What service do you need?" form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), vehicle details, the service you need, your area, timing, and your description of the job.
Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies; see "Cookies" below.
Shop listing information. Business details we publish — shop names, addresses, phone numbers, services, hours and Google ratings — come from each shop's own public website and public listings.
We use service-request details only to handle your request: reviewing it ourselves and, with your consent, passing it to shops that match. We use analytics to improve the directory. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we never sell personal information.
Your request details are shared only if you tick the consent box on the form, and only with up to three shops that match your service and area, so they can contact you about the job. At launch, every request is first reviewed by our team, and shops receive requests only after they have opted in to get them. We may also disclose information if required by law. Our website host (Hostinger) and Google Analytics process data on our behalf to run the site and measure traffic.
Service requests are stored in a private file that is not publicly accessible on our website, and access is limited to the GTA EV Repair team. We keep requests only as long as needed to handle them and follow up, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Google Analytics sets cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally with cookies blocked.
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, withdraw consent, or have it deleted. Email hello@gtaevrepair.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
